The ApexLounge in Zerbst.

The ApexLounge sits right at the shooting sports centre at Bahnhofstraße 55 in Zerbst and opens Thursday to Saturday from 5 pm. You arrive without booking, take a seat at the bar or at a table and are greeted before you have opened the menu. If you were on the lane beforehand, you bring your target with you and lay it beside your first drink. The conversation turns to hits, technique and the day, not to work.

The rhythm of the evening is yours to set. A signature cocktail to arrive, later a single malt or a glass of grande-marque champagne, and in between conversations with guests who know the same range. Garnishes are cut the same evening, the lighting is low, the music stays in the background. The lounge is a place where you stay longer than you intended.

The order is fixed: first the lane, then the bar. Absolute sobriety applies on the range, so the evening in the lounge begins only once shooting has finished. On Fridays the two fit together directly, because the range is open from 6 pm to 9 pm and the lounge from 5 pm. On Saturdays the range opens by arrangement and the lounge as usual from 5 pm.

Book your taster shooting session or lane time through online booking and reserve your table for afterwards by telephone or e-mail. For couples and small groups this makes an evening that begins with concentration and ends with a good glass, without anyone having to change venue. If you travel by train, Zerbst railway station is only a few steps away after the last drink.

The ApexLounge hosts monthly tastings and themed evenings: whisky tastings, steak nights and champagne evenings. At a tasting you sample several bottlings in small measures side by side, guided and with the stories behind the distilleries and houses. You learn the differences between regions, maturation and cask types without needing to be an expert first.

Steak nights and champagne evenings bring kitchen and bar together. As places on these evenings are limited, early reservation is worthwhile, especially for groups.

For birthdays, corporate evenings and private celebrations, the ApexLounge can be hired exclusively, by arrangement also outside the regular opening days. Tell us the occasion, preferred date, number of guests and whether the evening should begin with a shooting experience. On that basis we put together the schedule, drinks and food; allergies and special requests are asked about during planning.

Larger parties combine the lounge with the restaurant and bar for up to 150 guests or with the event venue for 10 to 200 people. Company anniversaries, Christmas parties or a stag or hen party can all be held in one place, with a shooting competition in the afternoon and the lounge in the evening. We arrange overnight accommodation in and around Zerbst on request.

The ApexLounge is aimed at guests aged 21 and over who want a calm, high-quality evening: sport shooters after training, couples, groups of friends, business partners and connoisseurs from Zerbst, Magdeburg, Dessau-Roßlau and the region. The dress code is smart casual, so well turned out, but no tie required. Club membership or a shooting booking is not necessary.

If you visit the lounge regularly and are a club member, the ApexClub is the natural addition: a VIP area on the sun terrace, table service and its own programme of events. For the occasional visit, simply drop in or reserve a table.
